In our early founding stage, we worked with our students & volunteers to raise money to fund variety of social causes. Over $250K was donated in funds to various causes including:

• Sponsoring Hussein’s heart surgery

• Supporting Doctors Towards Hope

• Sponsoring CD4 Campaign for the Suubi Centre in Uganda

• Partnering with UNICEF to sponsor internet access at refugee camps

However, as HBE’s programs have expanded, we have decided to focus completely on solving the educational disparity in Australia. The funds we raise through tutoring, sponsorships or grants are all dedicated to providing free or low cost high quality educational services to young people from disadvantaged background.
