Teba Mazin
Teba has worked with HBE since 2017 and has been involved in various programs and roles across the organisation. She is a champion for youth empowerment and a refugee advocate with an extensive experience in the NFP sector. Qualified as an Engineer, she adds value to the organisation through setting bold strategy, authentic leadership and community empowerment. Teba is also a proud refugee who migrated to Australia at the age of 13 from Iraq. Having spent her childhood years in a war-torn country and then migrating, she brings her lived experience to shape programs and services that reflect the needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged youth.
A strong believer in the importance of supporting young individuals through mentorship and education, she is determined to empower underrepresented communities to lead local/global changes and create a meaningful social impact.
